Accessibility

North Pacific Cannery Historic Site is committed to providing equitable access to everyone. We have a proud history of multiculturalism and actively support accessibility, anti-racism, anti-bigotry and inclusion and encourage diversity in our staff, visitors, volunteers, and programming.

We cultivate a safer space where all voices are heard, valued, and represented. North Pacific Cannery Historic Site stands against hatred, discrimination, racism, and bigotry.

Our vision is that North Pacific Cannery Historic Site is welcoming and meaningfully accessible to all.

Our wilderness location and unique and fragile heritage buildings can make providing accessibility a challenge.

We do our best to eliminate barriers to access wherever possible. North Pacific Cannery Historic Site is 75% wheelchair accessible except for the upper floor of the Main Cannery, Net Loft and the Manager's House, Assistant Managers House, Net Boss House and Railman's House which each have approximately 5-6 stairs

Certified service animals are always welcome anywhere North Pacific Cannery Historic Site guests are welcome.
