The Cannery allowed us to have the vintage touch, while also showcasing such a huge part of the North Coast’s history with our guests. We also love to fish so it tied that in for us as well!  The Cannery needed very little decorating and shone all on its own. We loved the story it told about the fishing history, which is close to both of our hearts. We were able to be on the water, inside or out (which is key in Prince Rupert with all the rain) and we were also able to provide our guests with tours, as it is a National Historic Site.

My wife and I just had our wedding ceremony at the cannery and I cannot say enough about this location or the staff. Steve at the cannery is currently nothing short of a minor super hero to my new wife and I. Location is stunning. Cannery staff, Steve in particular went well out of their way to ensure our wedding ceremony went off without a hitch. If you are considering having your wedding in the NW of BC, go there by all means, you will not be disappointed!

We catered for a wedding at the cannery. What and wonderful experience! The staff is incredibly accommodating and the venue breathtaking. We could stay on the premises which made the work so much easier.
