Kadowaki Triplex (5)
Triplex SuitesThe Japanese Triplexes were built to replace two four-unit "fishermen's shacks" that were smaller and narrower and were completed in 1964 and 1965, designed by Bill Ross. Initially they housed European Canadian families other than the 6th unit that housed Teo and May Okabe and their families. After 1967, the residents of units 4-6 were Robert and Fumiko Nishimura, Katsuki and Misao Kadowaki and Frank and Yoshiko Yoshida
This unit, named for the Kadowaki family has three rooms, in the main room there is a kitchenette with a sink, mini-fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishes and cutlery, a foldout double bed couch and an eating area. In the bathroom there is a restored original clawfoot tub with a shower attachment, modern low-flow toilet, sink and mirror. In the bedroom there is a double bed, a closet, a bedside table with built in USB charging ports and a door to the back deck outside.
Pets are allowed, but must be leashed when outside the unit and if any mess is left behind there will be a cleaning fee charged.
After hours, guests have private access to the working dock and beach.
We have Wi-Fi available but no cell service on site.
