Private Guided Tours

Explore North Pacific Cannery’s historic boardwalks, industrial buildings, residences and wilderness surroundings with a private guided tour.

The guide will connect your group with the salmon canning industry, highlighting the people, living quarters, workspaces, and functions of a remote cannery. Tours include live demonstrations of cannery machinery, a glimpse into the unique living experiences of workers of First Nations, Japanese, Chinese, and European descent, and a journey from the earliest days of salmon canning to the modern methods that take place today.

Groups

We offer private tours and lunch specials for groups of ten or more.

Admission rates are $15 per person and free for the tour guide (if applicable).

It is recommended that groups have 3-4 hours to enjoy all of the site’s offerings, however, we’re happy to customize the experience according to your schedule.

If a private tour is cancelled under any circumstances within 72 hours of the beginning of the booked tour, 50% of the exact cost for the tour must be paid back to the North Pacific Cannery within one week of the planned tour. This makes up costs spent on food, employees, or other costs relating to the organization of the tour.
